A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THYROMENTAL HEIGHT, THYROMENTAL DISTANCE, STERNOMENTAL DISTANCE AND MODIFIED MALLAMPATI TEST IN PREDICTING DIFFICULT INTUBATION FOR PATIENTS UNDERGOING GENERAL ANESTHESIA IN MCU-FDTMF

Airway management and endotracheal intubation are the primary concern in the field of anesthesiology. Patent airway is essential for adequate oxygenation and ventilation and failure to do so due to difficult intubation may result to life threatening consequences like hypoxia, brain damage and even death. This research was conducted to identify a single reliable predictor of difficult airway and test the validity in the setting of Filipino patients.
