The College of Computer Studies plays a key role in building strong interdisciplinary research programs and cutting-edge computing infrastructure.





Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
BSCS is the study of concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, implementation and application of information and computing solutions. The BSCS program develops students to be researchers and computing professionals who are proficient in designing, and developing computing solutions.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
BSIT is the study of utilization of computers and computer software to plan, install, customize, operate, manage, administer and maintain information technology infrastructure. The BSIT program prepares students to be IT professionals, be well versed on application installation, operation, development, maintenance and administration, and familiar with hardware installation, operation and maintenance.

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
BSIS is the study of design and implementation of solutions that integrate information technology with business processes. BSIS prepares students to be IT professionals and expert on design and implementation of IS for business processes.

Student Organizations

  1. College of Computer Studies Student Council
    Serve as a unified voice of the Computer Studies students, represents the students and acts in accordance with the general welfare of the College, promotes the general welfare of students in their academic and social endeavors, and helps students cope with their studies and develop skills in both theoretical and practical aspects.
  2. Junior Philippine Computer Society – MCU Chapter
    Promotes the understanding and usage of information technology, encourages the development of higher standards of computer education, provides an organization for information exchange, and prepare students for the technical, leadership and ethical challenges as a future IT professionals.
