Manila Central University College of Nursing (MCU Nursing) was chosen by the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) as a partner school in training and teaching for health professionals in Caloocan City during the consultative meeting last October 26, 2017 held at the PNRC’s Headquarters in Mandaluyong City. Among the schools in Metro Manila, MCU will be the pioneer in the establishment of the Red Cross Institute for Public Health Emergencies.

MCU Nursing students will be immersed in extensive community-based emergency and disaster management as part of their community related learning experience. They will also be a part of the PNRC’s national pool of student-volunteers.
