As part of the university’s mission to instill the sense of community service to its students, the MCU University Student Council conducted a community outreach dubbed as “Kalusugan mo, Serbisyo ko” last September 22, 2017 at Barangay Maysilo in Malabon City.
More than 150 residents composed mostly of elderly and children received free medical services.
Student-volunteers from the different colleges provided services such as vital signs monitoring, blood typing, physical rehabilitation therapy and oral prophylaxis to the elderly. Games, short story-telling and nursery rhyme singing were enjoyed by the children.
The social development program is in cooperation with Office of Student Affairs and University Integrated Community Extension Programs and Services.
