The Manila Central University (MCU) College of Dentistry and the Birhen ng Luhan Quasi-Parish (BLQP) in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City established an agreement that will look after residents’ disease prevention education, dental health and treatment.

Dr. Ramon C. Cercado, MCU Vice President for Academic Affairs and Reverend Father Luis Zapata, BLQP Parish Priest formalized the agreement last October 17, 2015 at the parish premises.

Volunteer student clinicians, faculty members and alumni which form Katuwang, the MCU College of Dentistry outreach organization, provided dental services and procedures to parish residents during the event.
Among those present during the program were Dr. Maria Cristina Aurea G. Garcia, Dean of the MCU College of Dentistry and Fr. James Ty, BLQP Assistant Parish Priest.
