MCU-FDTMF celebrates its 65th founding anniversary with the theme “We are 1 @ 65”. It is a year-long celebration. The kick-off ceremony started last January 30, with a Thanksgiving Mass followed by the Opening Ceremonies held at the Tanchoco Auditorium. The occasion was highlighted by the keynote address delivered by MCU President, Dr. Aristotle T. Malabanan. This was followed by the scientific lectures given by Dr. Leonor Pagtakhan-So, President of MCU Medical Alumni Association and Foundation in America, Dr. Reynaldo R. Landero Jr., Vice-President of MCU Medical Alumni Association and Foundation in America and a inspirational message by Dr. Renato G. Judalena, Chairman of the Board of MCU Medical Alumni Association and Foundation in America.

A series of scientific programs by different departments are scheduled monthly. The heart’s month (February 29) was celebrated with a ballroom dancing contest dubbed as “Dancing Sweethearts”, organized by the Unit Heads Organization.

It is hoped that the participation of all the sectors in the College of Medicine and Hospital will bring to life the Core Values that the institution desires to instill in everyone and these are Service, Commitment, Responsibility, Teamwork, Productivity, Efficiency, Integrity and Loyalty.
